NLAC Information

Hi Welch Sharks! 

If your child is interested exploring swimming as a sport throughout the year, the Nittany Lion Aquatic Club (NLAC) has a place for them. Our club is as sound as ever, and with the strong support of the school district, we will be practicing at the State High pool this year. (Ample parking and locker rooms!) And, for the first few weeks of the season, we'll even be practicing at Welch - it's being kept open just for us!

NLAC is a USA Swimming club, with highly qualified and fully certified coaches. We provide opportunities for swimmers from true novice to swimmers who compete at the national level – regardless of your swimmer’s level, NLAC will help your swimmer to reach their goals and love the sport of swimming.

If you're interested in swimming this year, contact our lead age group coach, Katie Bateman at kmb1182@gmail.com to set up an appointment for a group placement evaluation. You can also visit our website at NLACswim.org.

My daughter joined NLAC after her first summer swim league season five years ago and loves it. I’m also now on the board of directors for the club.
