Important Updates for the Week of July 17th

Another great week of Welch Swim Team ahead! Thank you for your continued support of our team and activities.  We appreciate all our families and how much everyone has been helping out this summer! Check out what is happening this week...

Sign-up for Thursday's SPRA Meet
The sign-up boards will be available Monday through Wednesday for Thursday's away meet against SPRA. The sign-up deadline is Wednesday at the end of practice (9:45am).

• Arrive at 5:15pm for warm-ups

SPRA Meet: Parent Volunteer Sign-up
Please sign-up to help with the SPRA meet. A description of each volunteer position is available on the team site.

French Toast at Practice
The team will supply French Toast Sticks and Syrup for all the swimmers after their practice time on Thursday! See you then!

Championships
All swimmers are invited to participate in the league championships (Champs) on Tuesday, July 25th (11 and up at Park Forest) and Thursday, July 27th (10 and under at SPRA). Sign-ups for Champs will be available at practices through Thursday, July 20th.

• Sign-ups will be on a separate sign-up board from regular meets. 
• Each swimmer selects their top five preferred events. Each swimmer is allowed to swim up to four events -- coaches will determine relays.
• If you cannot sign-up in person or if you know that you cannot attend Champs, please send an email to our coaches: welchcoaches@gmail.com -- We want to make sure everyone gets a chance to swim at Champs!
• Please sign-up to volunteer at Champs (Big Champs / Little Champs)
• If you have any questions, please ask another parent or a coach.

Team Awards Brunch
We will be hosting an end-of-season team brunch on Saturday, July 29th from 9:00-11:00am (location to be determined). This is a fun time to celebrate, enjoy some food, and congratulate the team for a great season!

• Please REGISTER if you plan to attend
• Brunch at 9:00am. Awards after brunch.
• Families are asked to bring a dish to share. Details available on the Sign-up page.

CRPR Youth Triathlon
The annual CRPR Youth Triathlon will be held Saturday, July 22 from 8-11am. The cost is $10/child. This event is open for ages 6-13. See details in display case next to ours and sign up through CRPR.

Welch Animal Policy
Just a reminder that pets are not permitted within the Welch Pool facility -- this includes during practice times. Thank you!
